Spherical LED Triumph: Milan Mela Prangan

We are proud to present our prime project at the Milan Mela Prangan in Kolkata, where we installed a spherical-shaped digital LED Screen at a towering height of 200 feet. This project was a challenging installation as this location comes under a cyclonic zone and that’s why it required strategy and expertise to ensure that the screen would withstand adverse conditions and provide an extended operational life.

The Challenge

The Foot-over-Bridge near FUN Mall serves as a crucial pedestrian pathway for the public, and the project presented several challenges:

Spherical Design

To construct a spherical LED Screen at such a height was a creative and engineering challenge in itself. Installing rectangle or square-shaped LED screens is easier but here our client wanted a spherical shape. This was our biggest challenge because the screen's design needed to be not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and durable.

Cyclone Resistance

The location was in a cyclonic zone, and due to the towering height of 200 feet, our work became more challenging as the wind pressure at that height was very high.

Visibility and Clarity

Ensuring high-resolution and crystal-clear visuals across the spherical structure was critical, as the screen needed to deliver an exceptional visual experience from every angle.

The Solution

Engineering Excellence:

A team of structural engineers designed a robust framework that could withstand both the forces of cyclones and the test of time. The spherical structure's design was not only eye-catching but also incredibly sturdy.

Cyclone-Resistant Materials

We used materials with anti-corrosive properties to combat the salty sea air, combined with a sturdy LED panel designed to withstand high winds, ensuring longevity in challenging weather conditions.

High-Resolution LED Panels

The use of top-tier P50mm LED panels delivered stunning visuals and exceptional clarity, ensuring that content was vivid and appealing from every viewing angle. High-brightness LED bulb and hybrid cable were used for less wear and tear

Remote Monitoring and Maintenance:

We implemented remote monitoring systems to track the screen's performance and swiftly address any issues, minimizing downtime.
